- Cap bust! Chatted for awhile with the chasers in this beast of a chase vehicle. Also witnessed some fires in the flint hills on the way home.

04/10/08 Northeast Kansas
This looked like at decent cold core type setup for NE Kansas. Unfortunately the updrafts were mushy and weak so I quickly gave up on the day and went home. Later that evening I took a few pictures as a line of storm came through the Leavenworth National Cemetery.

04/09/08 North TexasVery frustrating chase! Spent several hours on what appeared to be an amazing supercell on radar. In reality the supercell was in the middle of a cloud deck that was 200-feet off the ground. The following picture is the only thing I saw the entire day that resembles a storm feature. It was a weakly rotating lowering/funnel that lasted about a minute south of Decatur, TX
